As a designer, I have too much different forms formers of work I have UX/Product Design projects, & I have Graphic Design work. UX & Graphic Design are two different worlds of oppressing to me personally. The goal was to show my works, and basically how I show the different ways of opporating.
The goal of the project was to connect both worlds of UX Design & Graphic Design. Both are design but they should function differently, like different planets. Aside from planets I want the transition from project page to case study feel absolutely seamless, cinematically. I want the transition to feel like a video game without a loading screen. As well as each project to have its own distinct title sequence, colors and fonts.
The idea of planets was on my mind, what if the user is taken to a loading zone and they choose what “planet” they want to visit first?

If the UX & Graphic Design pages are two different worlds how should they operate? The next idea was make them function differently.
I believed that the UX Page should function through Horizontal Scrolling and the Graphic Design page should function through vertical scrolling:

The goal was to make these “planets” alive. Taking inspiration from the video games i grew up on i wanted there to be sound effects like a clicking when the user scrolls:
Making the webiste feel more alive I wanted to add an idle effect like the video games from my past:
I wanted to make every title sequence feel like an event, and to have its own unique style:
The same idea with the Graphic Design page but Vertical.
The vortex of spinning works was so beautiful it felt like it was more of an experience, I wanted it to feel special so i edited a Tyler The Creator song, I’ll Take Care of you, added reverb, slowed it down and we got this experience. I wanted more interactions on the page so if the user scrolls down fast, the music speeds up and if you were to scroll up the song reverses and users can click on any poster (in the center) and they will be taken to the project page. As well as if users click the button on the bottom of the page they can turn the void black or they can mute the music.
